Agboola Ajayi Mourns Owa Of Idanre, Says He Was Embodiment Of Wisdom

The Peoples Democratic party’s candidate in Ondo state’s scheduled gubernatorial election, H E, Agboola Ajayi has sent his heartfelt sympathy to the people of Idanre, following the passing away of its traditional ruler, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Frederick Adegunle Aroloye Arubiefin 1V ( a first class monarch ) whose passage was announced today .

In a statement issued and personally signed by the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate earlier today from the United Kingdom where he has gone on campaign visit, he described the late Owa of Idanre as an embodiment of wisdom, a keeper of his cultural heritage and a loving father who was not religiously or politically biased stressing that that the late Monarch protected his Kingdom without hurting his neighbours till he peacefully passed away.

Ajayi said by virtue of his involvement in the governance of the state at one time or the other, especially as a former deputy governor, he could attest to the love and efforts of the monarch in giving direction to government while at the same time his Kingdom promoted economic activities that helped in increasing the GDP of Ondo State and Nigeria at large.

The former deputy governor who also acknowledged the peace and growth witnessed in Idanre during the reign of the Oba, prayed that the spirit of the late Owa shall continue to protect and see the town witness further growth.

Submitting that the Owa will be sorely missed by all, including the non indigenes of Idanre, Ajayi also prayed that God should give his immediate family , the people of Idanre, and the State at large,the fortitude to bear the TV irreparable loss, even as he prayed for peace to continue to reign supreme in the land.
