Dr. Akinola Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa,a prominent Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, has commended the youths and people of Ondo State for their decision to eschew protests and embrace peace.
This commendation comes at a time when youth-led protests have become a common occurrence in many parts of the country.
In a statement, he praised the youths and the good people of Ondo State for their maturity and understanding of the current situation in the country, stating that their choice of peace over protest is a testament to their commitment to the development of the state and Nigeria.
He noted that their decision to ignore calls for protest is a clear indication of their support for the government’s initiatives and policies aimed at moving the state forward.
Dr. Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa, fondly known as “APATA” in Ondo State, has been a vocal advocate for youth empowerment and development, expressed his delight at the youths’ decision, saying it demonstrates their commitment to building a better future for themselves and their communities.
The APC Chieftain also lauded the Governor of Ondo State for his efforts at ensuring peace and tranquility in the state, saying his leadership has created a conducive environment for economic growth and development.
He urged them to continue to be supportive of the government and to express their opinions and grievances through peaceful and constructive means.
He assured them that President Bola Tinubu will accede to their requests and address their concerns, emphasizing the President’s commitment to the welfare and development of Nigerian youths.
