Tragedy struck in Akoko area of Ondo state, as unknown persons allegedly armed with gun killed two okada riders in a separate incidents.
Also, a gunman attacked a motorcyclist along Leo Road in Akure, the state capital, and stanched his motorcycle at gunpoint.
A 28 year old Dada Jatto Iyani Akoko popular okada rider who was one of the victims was reportedly missing for the past three days.
SUNSHINETRUTH News gathered that upon the search efforts his mutilated body and the damaged phone was discovered yesterday without his motor bike at the spot very close to Arigidi along Okeagbe road.
According to report, the second incident incident involved an okada rider whose assailant lured to an hideout between Ikare and Arigidi and reportedly used sledge hammer to smash his head.
Before his death in an undisclosed hospital he managed to describe his armed assailant and the snatcher of his motorbike.
According to the report, luck ran against his assailant as vigilant security agents arrested him with the bike at Akunnu Akoko a border town between Ondo and kogi states.
Meanwhile residents of Iyani Akoko northwest local government have been thrown into serious mourning and apprehension over the untimely death of late Dada Jatto, a father of two who they described as hardworking young man.
Police is yet to respond to the incident.
