IMMEDIATE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ENDBAD GOVERNANCE PROTESTERS IN AKURE.
The provocative arrest of peaceful protesters in Akure is a flagrant abuse of fundamental human right and rape of the tenets of democracy.
Hon. Lucky AIYEDATIWA, the governor of Ondo State has once again demonstrated his incompetence, disorientation and draconian dispositions.
He ordered the arrest of peaceful #endbadgovernance protesters in Akure, the Ondo State capital today 10th August 2024.
We, the entire leadership of AKINMURELE/OBE GOVERNORSHIP CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION as well the members of the Young Progressives Party(YPP) Ondo State condemn the oppressive and repressive action of the governor of Ondo State, the overzealous and uncivilised security operatives who swoop arrest on peaceful protesters.
We hereby demand that anything short of immediate and unconditional release of Kunle Wizeman AJAYI and the rest, we shall mobilise for a global mass action in the State.
