Ondo lawmaker, Hon Oladapo hosts Tinubu’s aide, Hon Ojudu in grand style

It was a rousing welcome and a memorial occasion for the people of Ondo West Constituency 2, on Friday August 23, 2024, as a lawmaker representing the constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Biola Oladapo, received the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Community Engagement, South West, Hon. Moremi Ojudu.

The reception started at Igunsin, with a courtesy visit to HRM Oba Aderehinwo Adebayo Asafunren of Igbado land. The monarch was delighted to receive Hon. Moremi Ojudu from Abuja.

He also appreciated Hon. Biola Oladapo for the event the SSA to the President was around for.

Earlier, Hon. Ojudu explained that the purpose of her visit was to connect with the grassroots and understand the needs of the people.

She also described Hon. Oladapo as a good ambassador of Ondo West Constituency 2.

Hon. Ojudu highlighted that her office serves as a link between the Federal Government and local governments.

A Chief later presented the community’s needs to Hon. Ojudu, who assured them that Mr. President would take action on issues like market development, road construction, and provision of potable water.

At the event proper, Hon. Ojudu was received by the people with pomp and pageantry. The Oba of Igunsin land, Oba Lawrence Adelaisoye, appreciated their visit and commended Hon. Biola Oladapo for bringing Hon. Moremi Ojudu to their community.

In his remarks, Hon. Oladapo, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Land, Housing, Physical Planning And Urban Development, reiterated the promise made during his campaign to use their connections to develop Ondo West Constituency 2.

Hon. Ojudu later distributed food items to the people and empowered the women of Ondo West Constituency 2, with a promise that more good things would come from Mr. President.

Notable leaders present at the event were Hon. Akinola Felix Obama, Chairman of LCDA Ondo South west; Hon. Mrs. Abiola Fayehun, Woman Leader of APC in Ondo West; Hon. Oyetunde Akerekoro; Hon. Pastor Owolabi oladimeji; Mr. Ajani Fatai, and others.
