Ondo 2024: NDDC ED ‘Abena’ strategisizes with Akure APC leaders for Aiyedatiwa

Some selected Leaders of Akure South Local Government have met with Hon Ifedayo Abegunde (Abena) on 7th September,2023

The meeting was held during a courtesy visit to his House on Saturday by some APC leaders from the various wards in Akure South LG


The Leaders met with the NDDC Executive Director (Corporate Services) in furtherance of the development of Akure and the need to deliver massive vote for APC/Governor Aiyedatiwa comes November 16, 2024 during the gubernatorial election.

Hon Adejuyigbe who spoke after the opening prayer and Introduction eulogises Hon. Abegunde for the leadership role displayed in Ondo State, most especially in Akure. He further said Ifedayo Abegunde ABENA is an Architect of change in Ondo State politics and Nigeria at large.

He mentioned that Hon. Abena has shown dedication to public service, through his exceptional and massive generosity to everyone. And most particularly by making himself available almost every other week despite the fact that his office is located in Porthacourt and throwing his doors open to everyone that comes around to felicitate or seek for assistance, and that this attributes is very worthy of emulation.

Speaking further on the main purpose of their mission, Hon Adejuyigbe also stated that the need to deliver Ondo State for APC cannot be overemphasized, and that Aiyedatiwa MUST not only win Ondo State but MUST win with a massive amount of votes from Akure South. He stated that the leaders are targeting a minimum vote of one hundred thousand for APC and Governor Aiyedatiwa in Akure South alone, hence the launch of PROJET100 (OPERATION AKURE DELIVER 100 THOUSAND VOTES FOR AIYEDATIWA).

Hon. Ologometa, the chairman of Oyemekun LCDA, who also spoke at the meeting said the unity of Akure leaders and communities is vital at this crucial time than ever.
He reiterated that we should not allow our efforts over the years to just come to waste.

The Strategies relating to achieving these aims, and particularly the winning of APC party in forthcoming Ondo State gubernatorial elections were extensively discussed through contributions from every member present.

In reference to all these, Hon Ifedayo Abegunde (NDDC Executive Director Cooperate Services) appreciates the presence of everyone at the meeting as he affirms to stand with the people of Akure and Ondo State at large at all times.
He emphasized that all his desire for now is to ensure that APC/AYEDATIWA wins the forthcoming Gubernatorial Election in Ondo State and that in the next few days, he will be relocating fully to Akure to deploy all resources and political sagacity to ensure that APC/AYEDATIWA wins the incoming NOV 16 election.

He spoke of his determination to reach out to his fellow leaders in Akure South, Akure North and Ifedore to seek for unity so as to ensure that this target is accomplished.
He emphasized that he is ready to reach out to all other Leaders as colleagues and friends and not from any position of superiority to achieve this aim.
He advised everyone to work hard for the victory of APC/Aiyedatiwa come Nov 16, 2024 gubernatorial elections.
