The Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Ondo State Chapter, has congratulated one of its members, Omotunmise Tokunbo aka TK on his recent appointment as the Special Assistant (SA) to the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
In a Congratulatory Message, the State Chairman of the Union, Comrade Adesuyi Oluwasegun Ajiboye, said the appointment did not come as a surprise to health workers in Ondo State considering TK antecedent as a dutiful, cerebral, vibrant and active medical officer.
Comrade Ajiboye described the appointment as well-deserved honour to Tokunbo considering his competence, doggedness, loyalty and creativity in whatever project he believes in.
“It’s our firm belief that Tokunbo’s great attributes will add values to the present administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa and he will not disappoint the Governor and the people of Ondo state.”
MHWUN also charged the new Governor’s Aide to justify the confidence reposed in him by this appointment by delivering on his duty.
The Union appreciates Hon. Aiyedatiwa for considering Tokunbo for such appointment.
MHWUN used the opportunity to remind Governor Aiyedatiwa to ensure full payment of outstanding hazard allowance to health workers in the state.
