Comrade (Chief) Oluwasegun Ajiboye and five others have been elected as members of the State Administrative Council (SAC) of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Ondo State Chapter.
The new executives emerged today during the State Quadrennial Delegates Conference held in Akure on Wednesday 11th September, 2024.
The returning officers of the election who were sent by the National Secretariat of the Union include; COM. CHIEF J.A OGUNSEYIN, RETURNING OFFICER; COM. ALHAJA R.G SANNI, ASSISTANT RETURNING OFFICER; and COM. JULIANNA .F. ADEKUNJO, ASSISTANT RETURNING OFFICER.
NAMES OF NEW STATE ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL MEMBERS OF ONDO STATE COUNCIL ARE; COM. CHIEF OLUWASEGUN AJIBOYE, CHAIRMAN (PHARMACY); COM. AGUNBIADE AMOS OLATUBI, VICE CHAIRMAN (LOCAL GOVT.); COM. MRS TOYIN ADEOLA, TREASURER (XRAY); COM. OLUWOLE TAIWO, TRUSTEE (FMC, OWO); COM. MRS AMOS ISSA TARRIERE, AUDITOR (OSOPACEC) AND COM. ALIU TOHNSON BAMIDELE, P.R.O (MIN. OF HEALTH).
Addressing members of the union after election at the MHWUN State Secretariat in Akure, Comrade Ajiboye appreciated members and leaders of the Union for the confidence reposed in the new executives to pilot the affairs of the union in the next four years.
The Chairman promised to continue to defend interest of health and medical workers in the state.
