Honourable Kolawole Ologede, representing Akure North State Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, extends warm congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In a statement marking the occasion, he urged religious leaders to utilize their platforms to advocate for peace, unity, and harmony among all Nigerians, regardless of their religious affiliations.
The lawmaker emphasized the importance of promoting interfaith dialogue and understanding in fostering a more inclusive and harmonious society.
The House Committee Chairman on Education Science and Technology, also called on the Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Maulud celebration as an opportunity to offer prayers for leaders at all levels of government.
Hon. Ologede added that he believes that prayer and supplication during this sacred period will have a positive impact on the nation’s leadership and governance, as he reiterated his commitment to utilising his office to attract maximum dividends of democracy to the people, ensuring that their welfare and well-being remains his top priority.
Hon. Ologede also called on the Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Maulud celebration as an opportunity to offer prayers for leaders at all levels of government.
“I urge Muslims to pray for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength for leaders, enabling them to make decisions that promote peace, prosperity, and development in the country,” he said.
