HAMDROMI FOOD ALLEVIATIVE DRIVE: TURN OF AKURE SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT TO BENEFIT FROM THE FOOD INTERVENTIONS
The food alleviative drive initiated by Hon. Chief Dr. Abiola Makinde, the Ondo East and West Local Governments Ranking House of Representatives Member and his amiable wife, Ambassador Dr. Rhoda Makinde, founder of Dr. Rhoda Oluwatoberu Makinde Initiative (DROMI), serves as an intervention mechanism to cushion the effects of food insecurity being currently experienced by Nigerians and also as a bolster package to support the efforts of the Ondo State Governor His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in his series of food security programs in Ondo State.
This novel food intervention initiative code named “HAMDROMI FOOD ALLEVIATIVE DRIVE” has been a moving train program across many local governments, town and villages for a while in Ondo West Local Government and recently in Akure North local government before moving to Akure South local government to specifically support the needy, old people and the aged, according to the philanthropical couple behind the laudable program.
The continuation of the program according to Dr. and Dr. Mrs Makinde, is passionately inspired by the spirited efforts of Governor Aiyedatiwa in ensuring that there is food accessibility and food security in Ondo State through Mr Governor’s distribution of fertilizers to real farmers across the state and to show their solidarity with Mr Governor in Ondo State development agenda non stop.
Effectively, the people of Akure South Local Government will be direct beneficiaries of HAMDROMI FOOD ALLEVIATIVE DRIVE as they will gather at Oda Town Hall and Akure South local government Hall on 16th of September to 18th of September 2024 to experience the philanthropic gestures of Hon. Dr. Makinde and Amb. Dr. Rhoda Makinde (HAMDROMI) without borders.
