..…Adegbonmire Promises Next Phase of Empowerment for Women, Artisans And Youth
In a bid to support educational growth in Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, and Engr. Ade Adetimehin, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, RT Hon Victor Adekanye Olabimtan, Ondo State SUBEB Chairman have commended the efforts of Senator Adeniyi Ayodele Adegbonmire SAN in empowering students through the BACK TO SCHOOL program.
The event, held today at St Jame’s Mega Primary School Irowo, Akure Ondo State witnessed the distribution of educational supplies such as Laptops, Notebooks, Magnetic Boards, Projectors Public Address Systems, Marker and Dusters to students across Primary, Secondary, Tertiary Institutions, Religious bodies.

Speaking at the event, Governor Aiyedatiwa who was represented by Mr Olaoluwa Francis the Director Science and Technology in the Ondo State Ministry Of Education, lauded the initiative, noting that it will alleviate the financial burden on parents and ensures that students have the necessary tools to succeed in their academic pursuits.
He highlighted the state’s commitment to ensuring access to quality education for all.


Engr. Adetimehin also expressed his admiration for Senator Adegbonmire’s dedication to youth and student development, stating that such programs are essential in building a brighter future for the state’s younger generation. “This is what true leadership looks like—providing opportunities for our students to thrive,” Adetimehin remarked.
Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, Who is the Chairman of Senate Committee On Judiciary, Human Right and Legal Matters in his speech, assured that this empowerment initiative was just the beginning.
He announced that the next phase of the program would focus on empowering women, youth and artisans providing them with tools and resources to improve their trade and livelihoods.
“We are committed to lifting not only our students but also our women who contribute so much to the local economy,” Adegbonmire stated, promising that no one would be left behind in the state’s drive for empowerment and progress.
The event was attended by the commissioner for women affairs, Deaconess (Hon) Omolola Fagbemi, Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development, Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye , Special Adviser to the governor on Political Matters, Dr Jibayo Adeyeye, all Education Secretaries in the local government of Ondo Central, All The Transition Committee Chairmen In Ondo Central, All Party Chairmen In the six local government of Ondo Central, Some Members Of Ondo State House Of Assembly In Ondo Central, Political Leaders, Head Of Selected Higher Institutions, Community leaders, Religious Leaders, Parents, and Students, all of whom expressed their gratitude for the timely intervention.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to the Senator, Hon. Bolarinde Akinloye. In his remarks, he commended the Senator for his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of his constituents, saying, “The Senator’s dedication to the progress of our people is evident in every initiative he leads.” He went on to express deep appreciation to the party and the community, acknowledging their steadfast support, stating, “Without your continued backing, none of this would be possible. Together, we will keep striving for a brighter future.”
