Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF) Sympathizes with Ondo Town Residents Following Severe Flooding, Calls for Government Intervention and Urges Residents to Stay Safe

The Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF) expresses heartfelt sympathy to the residents of Ondo Town, who have been severely affected by the recent heavy flooding caused by torrential rainfall. The flooding has significantly impacted many roads, homes, and business centers, disrupting lives and livelihoods across the community.

We are deeply saddened by the extent of the damage and understand the hardships that residents are currently facing. Many families and businesses have lost valuable property, and key infrastructure has been compromised. During this challenging period, we want to extend our sincere support and concern to all those affected.

We appeal to the Government to offer emergency relief, and put in place measures to mitigate future flooding.

We also wish to appeal to residents to take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety. We encourage everyone to avoid flooded areas whenever possible, to follow official safety guidelines, and to prioritize the well-being of their families during this period.

The Foundation remains committed to supporting the Ondo Town community through these difficult times. We stand in solidarity with all affected, and we are exploring ways in which we can provide further assistance in collaboration with local authorities and community leaders.
