Engr. Bally flags off Training & Empowerment Programs for Youth in Ondo West & Ondo East LGAs

**** Youth groups lauded the initiative, as it set to create jobs for the youth and stimulate macroeconomic growth in Ondo

Engr. Ayotunde Bally has initiated a training and empowerment program aimed at fostering the socio-economic development of Ondo Kingdom.

This program, conducted in partnership with Cohort 14 through the Ayotunde & Chinelo Bally Foundation, is designed to train and empower over one hundred and fifty (150) youths in Tyrolean within the Ondo West and East local government areas of Ondo State.

The primary goal of this initiative is to mitigate the high unemployment rate among the youth population in Ondo Kingdom.

In his address during the flag-off event;

“Our Foundation has a rich history of organizing life-changing intervention programs for the youth in Ondo Kingdom.

Over time, we have implemented various training and empowerment initiatives spanning across all sectors, aimed at contributing to the socio-economic development of Ondo. The Tyrolean training program is a continuation of our commitment to this cause.”

“From the onset, our vision has been to provide comprehensive support to our youth, empowering them to overcome poverty and unemployment, and fostering self-reliance to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of Ondo Kingdom.”

“The escalating unemployment rate among our educated and uneducated youth necessitates urgent intervention. The Ayotunde&Chinelo Bally Foundation has continually undertaken programs, projects, and interventions to address this pressing issue.”

“In line with our commitment, the Foundation has chosen to collaborate with Cohort 14 for the Tyrolean training program. Tyrolean design, inspired by traditional Alpine architecture from the Tyrol region in Austria and Italy, embodies functionality, natural beauty, and cultural heritage, creating a distinctive and captivating aesthetic,” Engr. Bally said.

During the event, youth groups and religious organizations commended the commendable initiative of Engr. Bally in providing a life-changing intervention program for the youth of Ondo. This program is expected to effectively address the issue of youth unemployment in the region.

Participants from Ondo West and East who attended the event praised the significant contributions of Engr. Bally to the advancement of the Ondo Kingdom’s youth. They urged the Foundation to sustain this generous support without interruption.

During the flag-off event, Cohort 14 (Skill A Youth), under the leadership of Miss Abiodun, head of the training program, extended their congratulations to the youth for their participation in the program. Miss Abiodun commended the facilitator and the Foundation, emphasizing the socio-economic significance of the program for the overall growth of Ondo Kingdom.

She encouraged the participants to make the most of the training, highlighting its potential to become a significant source of income for them shortly.

The flag-off event was held at the Ondo West Local Government Secretariat and well attended by various youth groups in Ondo, religious bodies and prominent people within the local government areas.

The training program will run for days, and machines will be given to the outstanding participants at the end of the program.
