18 workers who are Staff of Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB have involved in an ghastly accident on Akure – Ondo road, leaving one of them dead while 17 of them cheated death; SUNSHINETRUTH News can report.
The members of staff of the board in an 18 seater bus were reportedly going on a journey to attend the burial ceremony of the father of a colleague when the incident occurred.
Eye witnesses told newsmen that ODSUBEB bus in which they were traveling skidded off the road and somersaulted many times into the bush leaving one person dead.
Many of the passengers who sustained various degrees of injuries. were rushed to UNIMED Teaching Hospital Akure emergency ward .
Four of the workers are still on admission at the teaching hospital while others had been discharged with the dead deposited at the mortuary.
