It is an uncommon grace that people live to see each new day. Engineer Gboye Adegbenro, FNSE, is a transformed Colossus from a humble background.
This has tremendously influenced his perception about life and how he values people irrespective of their status in the society.
He has dried away tears from faces of many people. Some of them at the first meeting upon complaining about their challenges.
His boss while occupying public offices as a young chap, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko (former governor of Ondo State), identified his resilience and dedication.
This made him place more responsibility on his palm to make living comfortable for people of Ondo State.
This he did to the satisfaction of his boss and became close knit till this day.
Giving support to people is part of his life and that’s the reason he always stands by his boss who turned 70 recently.
Many see him as a Colossus, particularly the souls he has touched.
His professional colleagues see him as a man who keep to details and frowns at anything that is capable of undermining the profession.
They also commonly refer to him as a moving encyclopaedia of infrastructure.
