ONDO GOVT BEGINS FREE SCREENING FOR HYPERTENSION AND DIABETES
To combat the prevalence of Non Communicable Disease ,(NCDs) in Ondo state especially hypertension and Diabetes Ondo State, Government is presently screening about 300,000 residents of the state under the Federal Government tagged Project 10 million
Project 10million is a project of the Federal government to screen 10million Nigerians in the 36 states of the Federation with FCT and it is themed ” know your number, control your number”
The project is to run from today, 28th of October to 3rd of November 2024 in all the General Hospitals and some Primary Healthcare Centres in the 203 wards in the state
The campaign will prioritize all communities and it will ensure that vulnerable populations have equitable access to essential care and enhance the quality of life of the people of Ondo State.
Residents are therefore urged to visit Ministry of Health, Alagbaka, Primary healthcare centres, General Hospitals
