GOV AIYEDATIWA DISTRIBUTES FOOD PALLIATIVES TO AIYETORO COMMUNITY IN ILAJE
……Deputy Speaker, Akinruntan Commends Gov. Aiyedatiwa, President Tinubu
In a magnanimous display of love and solidarity, the Governor of Ondo State, H.E. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, ably represented by Ondo Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abayomi Akinruntan alongside the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Banji Ajaka distributed food items to the people of Aiyetoro community as palliatives to cushion the adverse effects of sea incursion and economic hardship.
Gov. Aiyedatiwa, who was represented by Rt. Hon. Akinruntan and Hon. Banji Ajaka presented these food items to Aiyetoro community leaders at Naval Base, Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government.
Rt Hon Akinruntan commended Gov. Ayedatiwa for his humanitarian gesture and being sensitive to the yearnings of the people.
Expressing the Governor’s dedication to developments of Ilaje communities, Rt Hon. Akinruntan cited the recent Stakeholders’ Engagement by the Hon. Minister of Works with Ilaje leaders on the flag-off of Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, which significantly captures Ilaje, amongst other ongoing developmental projects and initiatives.
He appealed to Gov Aiyedatiwa to extend similar opportunities to affected communities like Odofado, Jinrinwo, Mese, Awoye, amongst other costal communities.
A foremost leader of the community, Prophet Oluwanbe Ojagbohunmi, responding to the Governor’s charitable display, conveyed the profound appreciation and heartfelt prayers of the people of Ayetoro to the Governor for bringing succour to their economic plights. He further expressed enthusiasm and confidence in the Ayedatiwa-led administration to consolidate efforts in proffering lasting solutions to the ecological crisis bedeviling the community.

Ola Luro (SA to Deputy Speaker Ugbo1), Hon Kola Abejoye (SA to Deputy Speaker Ugbo4), Representative of Senator Jide Ipinsagba, Hon Wole Iroaiye the Representative of Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Aiyetoro Community Youth Leaders, Baba Ijo, Iya Ijo and other selected elders.
