Former Ose LG Council Chairman, Hon. Victor Olotu a.k.a ASOF, Joins APC Ahead of Ondo Governorship Election
In a significant political development, Hon. Victor Olotu (ASOF), former council chairman of Ose Local Government and notable businessman, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the upcoming governorship election in Ondo State.
Hon. Olotu, who also serves as CEO of ASOF Petrol Station, Bakery, Pure Water, and Logistics in Ireakari, Ose Local Government, announced his defection to the APC at a gathering on Thursday.
To mark his support for the party’s candidate, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Hon. Olotu donated branded caps, vests, and banners aimed at boosting the campaign efforts.
Olotu emphasized his belief in the APC’s vision and expressed a commitment to contributing to the party’s success in the governorship race.
In a remark, the APC Ondo State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, warmly welcomed Hon. Olotu into the party, commending his decision to support the party at this crucial time.
Engr. Adetimehin highlighted the importance of strong, grassroots support from influential figures like Hon. Olotu.
Also in attendance to show their support were Senator Adegbonmire, SAN, and Hon. Idowu Adebusuyi, Commissioner 1 at the Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission, who both praised Hon. Olotu’s commitment to the APC and its candidate.
With this defection, the APC gains yet another experienced political figure and businessman, strengthening its ranks as the state prepares for a competitive election season.
