The Secretary of “Agbe Loba” Farmers Union in Ondo State, Comrade Adesanlu Tosin, has hailed the resounding victory of Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the November 16 governorship election. In a congratulatory statement, Adesanlu described the triumph as a testament to Aiyedatiwa’s performance and divine endorsement by the people of Ondo State.
Adesanlu expressed that the governor-elect’s success was well-earned, attributing it to hard work and wide acceptance among the electorate.
“Since only God can enthrone a leader, your victory reflects divine approval and the people’s overwhelming trust in your leadership,” he said.
Advising Aiyedatiwa to approach governance with focus and inclusivity, Adesanlu emphasised the need to unite the state.
“The politicking of the past months must now give way to critical reasoning on how to deliver on your promises.
Govern with the energy of youth, sincerity, and diligence, treating the entire state as your constituency, irrespective of tribe, creed, or class,” he urged.
He also extended an olive branch to Aiyedatiwa’s opponents, calling on them to embrace peace and collaborate with the incoming administration for the development of Ondo State.
“A new and prosperous Ondo must be seen as a collective responsibility,” Adesanlu remarked.
In addition to commending the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for their effective handling of the election, Adesanlu, who also serves as Secretary of the Fruit Dealers and Sellers Association in Ondo State, wished the governor-elect wisdom and skill for a peaceful and productive tenure.
With Aiyedatiwa’s victory secured, stakeholders are looking forward to the promises of a renewed and progressive Ondo State under his leadership.
