UNIMED VC engages Osemawe, other stakeholders Congratulate the University on its 10th Anniversary
The Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, CFR, Jilo III, hosted the Management of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, on Wednesday 4th December, 2024.
The UNIMED Management, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adesegun Fatusi, paid a courtesy visit to the Paramount Ruler and Chancellor of the institution as part of its advocacy and stakeholders’ engagement for the 10th Anniversary of the University.
The Vice-Chancellor, while speaking on the reason for the visit, said “We are here to intimate you with the activities lined up to celebrate the University’s ten years of trailblazing exploits in health professions education and to thank you for your unflinching support since the inception of the institution”.
The Vice Chancellor further thanked the Osemawe-in-Council and the entire people Ondo Kingdom for their support and hospitality, “we have enjoyed the hospitality of the people of Ondo Kingdom and this has contributed immensely to the success the University has been able to record in the last 10 years”, he said.
The Osemawe, in his response, congratulated the University on its numerous accomplishments within a short period of time.
According to the newly appointed Chancellor of the University, “I am proud of the University’s achievements within the short period of its existence. The University has brought honour not only to Ondo Kingdom but also to the entire state. I congratulate the University on its 10th Anniversary”.
The University will be taking its stakeholders’ engagement and advocacy to the Government House on Thursday, 5th December, 2024.
