Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, the well-respected Islamic preacher born in Ibadan, has sadly passed away, leaving many lovers to be in shock.

However, this unfortunate news was confirmed on the Facebook page of fellow preacher, Sheikh Taofeeq Akewugbagold.
Sheikh Muyideen was born in 1940 as a member of the Bello Ajani family, which hailed from Arolu Compound, Ita Olukoyi, Ibadan, Oyo State. His parents were Alhaji Bello Ajani and Alhaja Ubaidat Bello.
Sheikh Muyideen commenced his formal Western education at I.D.C Primary School, Elekuro, Ibadan, where he also completed his secondary education. Between 1963 and 1967, he studied at Mahdul Arabiy, Elekuro, and gained substantial knowledge in Arabic and Islamic studies.
From an early age, Alhaji Ajani Bello exhibited a strong interest in Islamic propagation, preaching in various parts of Ibadan city from the age of 10. Following this, he went on to teach at various secondary schools located in Oyo, Ogun, and Kano States. In addition to this, he was appointed as the Missioner for the distinguished Islamic organization, Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria.
Sheikh Muyideen has frequently been invited to share the message of Islam across the globe, including in countries such as the UK, US, and neighboring African nations.
