HON. ADEBUSUYI IDOWU PIUS CONDEMNS FETISH ATTACK ON ONDO APC SECRETARIAT, PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE IN ENGR ADE ADETIMEHIN AS STATE CHAIRMAN
The Commissioner 1 in Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission and Ondo State 2024 Governorship Campaign Director General for Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency, Hon Adebusuyi Idowu Pius, has condemned in strong terms the unnecessary attack on the State Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) with some fetish objects by some unknown youths.
Hon. Adebusuyi therefore passes a Vote of Confidence in Engr Ade Adetimehin as the APC State Chairman.
In a Press Statement issued in Akure on Monday, Hon. Adebusuyi cautioned those who carried out the vicious attack on the party’s secretariat to desist from acts capable of disrupting the existing peace in the state chapter of the party which led to historic victory of the party in the recent governorship election.
Hon. Adebusuyi, a former state lawmaker and former Ifedore Council Chairman, said Engr Adetimehin has not committed any offence to warrant such act against the party, adding that the APC chairman remains a strong and popular political figure in Ondo State.
The ODHASC Commissioner commended the APC Exco of Ofosu ward in Idanre local government area for timely debunking the purported ‘Kangaroo’ suspension of Engr Adetimehin, circulated by some unscrupulous elements, noting that the fact that the party’s Exco passed a vote of confidence in him shows his popularity.
Hon. Adebusuyi charged security agencies to take proactive measures to arrest those responsible for the unnecessary vicious attack and bring them and their sponsors to book.
