In the spirit of the yuletide, the Oba Ajibola-Oluyede Royals on December 23, 2024 at the Royal Ranch, Ayede Ogbese, put smiles on the faces of residents of the town, by doling out mouthwatering meals, drinks, tonnes of palliative foodstuffs, numerous cartons of chicken, copious cash gifts, bags of bundles of exquisite fabrics and much-needed scholarships for pupils.
Amidst poured out commendations for HRH Olori Olufunmilayo Oluyede, the highly respected Royal family also empowered the residents with branded school bags, youths empowerment/skill acquisition opportunities as well-controlled mammoth crowd of the kingdom’s widows, orphans, the aged and persons living disability.
With dances, music and heart-felt prayers, the people of Ayede Ogbese in Akure North local government area of Ondo State, Nigeria, attended the occasion, held at the Royal Ranch, Ayede Ogbese.
The ceremony also afforded the Royal family and the people of the community yet another unprecedented, magnificent occasion to commemorate and celebrate the life and times of late HRM Alayeluwa Oba Ajibola Olaleye Oluyede, Ise Oluwa II, the Alayede of Ayede Ogbese, whose sterling legacies and profound impacts on the lives of the citizenry will remain evergreen in the hearts of the people of the kingdom.
Also, at the grand occasion, the Regent of Ayede Ogbese, Her Royal Highness, Dr. Olufunto Oluyede-Campbell (a United States accomplished Medical Practitioner) provided specially imported medical supplies and All-Day Community Health and Wellness Checks gratis to all and sundry.
Organized annually under the auspices of HRH Olori Olufunmilayo Ajibola-Oluyede (the town’s altruistic, globally-renowned queen) the 2024 edition of the festivities was generally adjudged the most impactful ever.
At the event, Olori Olufunmilayo Oluyede was ushered in amidst hearty cheers and deafening applauses by the populace. However, in Christ-like humility, the queen reverted all the glory to the Lord JESUS CHRIST, who according to her, is the raison d’etre for the celebrations and is her ultimate divine patron, provider, inspiration and encourager, without whom she could achieve nothing.
Teary-eyed and emotional, she went on to express her love, respect and gratitude to the beloved people of the town for their unflinching loyalty and love for her late husband coupled with their overwhelming support during the final homegoing obsequies of her late husband, despite all odds.
Olori Oluyede also thanked the people for their warm embrace of her daughter, the Regent of Ayede Ogbese, assuring them that with God as her guide, she will continue to execute initiatives geared towards the enhancement of the people’s well-being, as she endeavors to implement the precious legacy established by her father, the late Alaiyeluwa Oba Ajibola Oluyede,
For the people of the ancient town of Ayede Ogbese, the future is certainly a bright and optimistic one. Undeniably, Oba Ajibola Oluyede’s revolutionary plans and purposes for the town have indeed survived him. This is evident in his well-accomplished offsprings, his genial, much-admired widow, his ever-faithful citizenry and their avid implementation of the significant developmental structures that he left behind.
