
In the spirit of yuletide, the authorities of Sckyé Hospital, Akure in partnership with Christopher Rose & Mary Foundation, A none governmental organization(NGO), has gifted cash prize and other gifts to the babies born on wednesday, being the first day of the year 2025.
While announcing the arrival of the babies and their gifts through his official Facebook page, the Chief Medical Director of Sckyé Hospital, Dr. Thomas-wilson Ikubese said all four babies born on the new year day, the ‘New Year Babies’ got different prizes, while the first baby to arrive, the ‘baby of the year’ got a special cash prize.
“Today, we have a total of four lovely babies that were delivered in Sckyé hospital.” He wrote.
“All of them won several baby items (prizes) as “New Year Babies” from Sckyé Hospitals Ltd and Christopher Rose & Mary Foundation (NGO), while Baby Akinbaloye who was the first baby to be delivered at 12.10am won the “Baby Of The Year” award with an addition of a cash prize from Christopher Rose & Mary Foundation and a fifty thousand naira (cheque) from Sckyé Hospitals Ltd.”
“We pray for these children that the Almighty God shall preserve them and cause them to excel in their future endeavors” he added.
