Owo crisis: Ajipe hails timely actions by Govt, calls for calm

“Death Too Many: Stop Wasting Our Future”

To the families of the slain individuals, the Olowo of Owo, and the Ondo State Government,

I am writing to express my deepest condolences to you all on the tragic loss of lives in the recent cultist clash in Owo. The news of the senseless killings has left me shattered, and I can only imagine the pain and grief that you must be feeling.

The loss of young lives is always a tragedy, and it is even more heartbreaking when it occurs due to senseless violence. The families of the deceased have been robbed of their loved ones, and the community has lost promising young individuals who had their entire lives ahead of them.

To the Olowo of Owo, I offer my respects and condolences. Your Majesty, this incident is a sad reminder of the challenges that our community faces, and I urge you to continue to work tirelessly to promote peace and stability in our kingdom.

To the Ondo State Government, I commend your swift response to the incident and your efforts to restore peace and order. I urge you to continue to work with the security agencies to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice and that measures are put in place to prevent such incidents in the future.

But most importantly, I want to speak directly to the youths of Owo and Ondo State. My dear young friends, this incident is a wake-up call for all of us. It is a reminder that the choices we make have consequences, and that the path of violence and social vices leads only to destruction and death.

I urge you all to reject the lure of cultism and other social vices. These groups may promise you power, protection, and a sense of belonging, but they will ultimately lead you down a path of destruction. You have so much potential, so much to offer, and so much to live for.

Let us work together to build a brighter future for ourselves, our community, and our state. Let us choose the path of peace, love, and progress. Let us stop wasting our future and start building a better tomorrow.

Once again, I offer my condolences to the families of the deceased and to the Olowo of Owo. May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may we all learn from this tragic incident.

Sincerely,

Chief (Dr) Alexander Oluremi Ajipe

(APC Chieftain in Ondo State)
