……APC Ward Six, Ondo West: Reaffirmation of Adeboyejo Alex Adeyemi as Councillorship Candidate
This is to remind all party members in Ondo West Local Government that the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward Six, Ondo West, remains steadfast in its decision to endorse Adeboyejo Alex Adeyemi as the consensus Councillorship candidate for the forthcoming election scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2025.
We wish to address and debunk the misinformation being circulated by mischief makers claiming that a reconciliation has occurred in the ward. This claim is a blatant falsehood. Let it be clearly stated that Adeboyejo Alex Adeyemi remains the valid and unanimously endorsed candidate of our party in Ward Six.
To further clarify, the leadership of Ward Six recently held a meeting as part of preparations for the upcoming election. However, this meeting has been deliberately misinterpreted by certain individuals to suggest a reconciliation and a change in our endorsement.
This is categorically untrue. The decision to endorse Adeboyejo Alex Adeyemi has not been revisited, and there has been no reconciliation to replace our initial choice.
We call on party leaders at the state and local government levels to disregard these misleading claims and remain assured that the leadership of Ward Six stands firm in its commitment to Adeboyejo Alex Adeyemi.
While we trust in the leadership and judgment of His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and other progressive leaders of our great party, we pledge to continue working tirelessly to ensure victory for the APC in the forthcoming election and beyond.
