CABINET DISSOLUTION: AKOGUN OLUGBENGA OMOLE APPRECIATES GOVERNOR LUCKY AIYEDATIWA FOR OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE
…..Highlights and Hails Various Achievements of Mr Governor in Transportation Sector.
The Akogun of Okaland and immediate Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Transportation, Hon Olugbenga Omole has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity given him to serve the state under his administration.
This followed the dissolution of the State Executive Council on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025, ahead of the inauguration of the Governor for the renewed mandate.
While particularly appreciating Governor Aiyedatiwa for achieving numerous giant strides in the transportation sector, Akogun Omole expresses delight that the people of Ondo State will not forget how Mr Governor revamped and added more shuttle buses to boost the State Free School shuttle buses at a critical time when fuel subsidy was removed and the scheme further reduce financial burden of parents in transporting their children to and from schools.
The immediate Past Special Adviser and former State Lawmaker, also commended the approval by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s administration, for the distribution of life jackets to residents of the riverine communities and the proposed clearing of waterways in the state. The project is aimed at protecting citizens from boat mishaps and promote commercial activities in the benefitting communities.
“It’s also on record that the operations of Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO) have been boosted in the last one year under the watch of Mr Governor in the transportation ministry.”
Akogun Omole said Governor Aiyedatiwa also approved training and engagement of key stakeholders that enhance the Transportation sector in the state.
“I also want to applaud Mr Governor to timely approval of fund for immediate completion of the Administrative Building in the Ministry of Transport which is now at 90% completion.
“To this end, I sincerely thank our Amiable leader and Governor for the opportunities granted me as his Special Adviser on Transportation, to serve and contribute my own quota to the development of dear State. I wish Mr. Governor the very best in the new administration praying God to continue to grant him sound health, strength and wisdom to steer the ship of the state to a greater heights.
“In my home town, Oka-Akoko, the Governor approved the rehabilitation and asphalt overlaying of Ayegunle-Iwaro Oka road (Ongoing), Rehabilitation of Township roads in Oka, Renovation of Schools, Opening up of Rural Roads, for these and many more, I appreciate Mr Governor.”
“I equally want to appreciate my people in Oka Akoko especially our Royal Father, the Olubaka of Okaland, HRM Oba (Dr) Adebori Yusuf Adeleye, OON; and all the APC leaders in Akoko Southwest local government area for their support to Mr Governor and efforts at ensuring landslide victory which culminated in unprecedented winning of all the 18 local government areas in the state, will go into history book as the first elected Governor to so achieve such feat.”
