LG POLL: ONDO SPEAKER, OLADIJI CASTS VOTE, HARPS ON IMPORTANCE OF GRASSROOT DEVELOPMENT
The Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon(Chief) Olamide Oladiji has today cast his vote at polling unit 5, ward 9, Sasere in Ondo East Local Government Area.
Speaking with journalists after performing his franchise, the Speaker expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the election by the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC).
While stressing the importance of the local government election, Oladiji appreciated Governor (Dr) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his various steps geared towards enhancing smooth and effective grassroot development in the sunshine State.
The Speaker, later commended the people of Ondo State for maintaining the existing peace and coming out to cast their votes.
