TLG Youth Movement Backs Governor Aiyedatiwa’s Decision to Retain Finance and Justice Commissioners
The Lucky Guy (TLG) Youth Movement commends Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his leadership in reshaping the Ondo State Executive Council. We recognize and appreciate the efforts of all former cabinet members who served the state with dedication. Their contributions have been instrumental in the progress of Ondo State, and we acknowledge their commitment to public service.
At the same time, we fully support the Governor’s decision to retain Hon. Mrs. Omowumi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance and Barr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, OON, as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice. Their roles are critical to the smooth running of government, and their impact in these positions has been commendable.
Hon. Mrs. Omowumi Isaac is a highly skilled financial expert with years of experience in banking and accounting. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Middlesex University, London, and a Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of London.
As a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), she has used her expertise to improve Ondo State’s financial management. Under her leadership, salaries are now paid before the end of the month, ensuring stability and trust in the government’s financial system. Her efforts have brought transparency and accountability, making the state’s finances more efficient.
Barr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, OON, is a well-respected lawyer with a successful career in private legal practice. He left his thriving career to serve Ondo State and has since made a significant impact on the state’s justice system.
As Attorney General, he has strengthened the legal framework, promoted fairness, and ensured that the rule of law is upheld. His leadership has helped create a more effective justice system that serves the people better.
Recently, on January 15, 2025, the Governor dissolved the state executive council, but these two were retained due to the essential nature of their offices. This is a strong indication of their exceptional performance and the trust the Governor has in them.
As a youth movement, we stand firmly behind Hon. Mrs. Omowumi Isaac and Barr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, OON. They have sacrificed personal and professional gains to serve the people of Ondo State, and their dedication is clear for all to see.
We also commend Governor Aiyedatiwa for his decision to retain them. This shows that excellence and hard work are being recognized and rewarded in Ondo State. We believe that with their continued leadership, Ondo State will witness even greater financial stability, stronger legal reforms, and overall progress.
