
The multiple awards winning Travel Agency CEO in Ondo State, High Chief (Ambassador) Samuel Aanu Ijiti has been conferred as a Knight of the St Monica Girl’s Grammar School, Ondo.
As part of the activities celebrating the 70th Founder Anniversary of the school, some eminent Nigerians that are doing well in their different field of endeavors received degrees of award.
Among the awardees were the Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Ondo State Head of Service, Bayo Philip and others.

The honoured done on Sir Samuel Aanu Ijiti is the mother of all the awards as he was singled out to be decorated as a Knight having considered his unequaled contributions to the development of girl’s child education within and outside Ondo State.
It was a long entourage of the Chiefs of Isinkan who accompany the Adaja and Gbobaniyi of Isinkan Kingdom to the ancient town of Ondo Kingdom to be part of the history making ceremony.
Speaking with newsmen, the Principal of the school, Mrs Adeola Akinseloyin said the noble contributions of the selected awardees to the development of the school earned them the prestigious honours.
She specially recognized Sir Samuel Aanu Ijiti among the award recipients, saying the investiture of the CEO of Evershine Films and Travels Nigeria Limited as Knight of Distinction has no doubt comes with great responsibility on the part of the Ondo born Prince.

In his words of appreciation, Sir Samuel Ijiti thanked the management of the school for the conferment of the prestigious honour of Knight on him.
He promised to continue to support the school education development saying the school won’t regret honouring with the award.
Sir Ijiti also thanked the Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Olugbenga Ojo and Iralepo Council of Chiefs for honouring him with their presence and financial donation.
He assured the community leaders of using his position as a Knight and Adaja to bring needed development to Isinkan land.
