
It was a day of angry reactions from residents of Akure, the Ondo State capital over waves of insecurity, as A Toyota RAV4 belonging to Very Rev’d David Akinadewo-Adekahunsi has been stolen.
It was reportedly stolen on Saturday morning at Ijapo Extension, Akure, marking another security breach that has characterised situation in the capital city in recent weeks.
Akinadewo-Adekahunsi, a senior journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Nigerian Monitor Magazine, is well known in media and religious circles.
He is also a spiritual musician and the Resident Minister of Motailatu Church of God, Oke-Idahun Parish, Akure.
The stolen vehicle is an ash-colored Toyota RAV4 with the following details:
Plate Number: AKD 113 DV
Chassis Number: JTEHH20V526061830
According to reports, the vehicle was stolen from where it was parked in front of the house.
The incident has been reported at the Ijapo Police Station, and the Ondo State Police Command has launched an investigation to recover the stolen car.
