The Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abayomi Akinruntan, has congratulated Hon. Maurice Oripenaye, Hon(Mrs) Esejuwon Oluwarantimi on their inauguration as Chairman and Vice Chairman of Ilaje Local Government, Ondo State.
Rt. Hon. Akinruntan also congratulated other Local Govt Area Chairmen across the State while describing Hon. Oripenaye as a seasoned grassroots politician, uniquely equipped to spearhead transformative growth and development in Ilaje Local Government.
Deputy Speaker, Akinruntan commended Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to grassroots development and the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) for conducting a peaceful and credible election.
While the inauguration of these chairmen mark a new era in the leadership of their respective Local Governments, Akinruntan underscores the importance of collaboration and cooperation between Chairmen and elected councillors of various political wards in delivering electoral promises to the people.
