
The Igbisin-Oloto community in Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State has applauded the member representing Okitipupa Constituency I, Chris Ayebusiwa, for constructing and delivering a borehole water-project for the community.
Saturday, the project was commissioned and officially handed-over to the community.
Taking delivery on behalf of the community, the monarch, Oba Michael Olugbemi Sewo, the Oloto of Igbisin -Oloto Land, described the construction of the water project as timely and Hon. Aiyebusiwa as a reliable representative of the people.
Asked of the need for the borehole project: “The borehole project is to alleviate the community lifestyle in water availability and accessibility,” the lawmaker said.
“The Igbisin -Oloto community is a stout part of our political constituency. The community has, more often than not, contributed notedly to the making, growth and exploits of our party, the All Progressives (Congress APC). Even our victory at the polls was not without the community’s outstanding support.
“In acting out our plans for constituents, therefore, particularly the Igbisin-Oloto Community, this particular intervention was preferred and delivered to the glory of God.”
Commissioned by the local government party Chiarman for Okitipupa, Chief Bode Ikulala, the event was well attended by all the newly elected ward councillors in the seven constituent political wards in Okitipupa Constituency I, all party ward chairpersons in the constituency, community and political leaders among others.
