The Ondo Zone Athletics Association (OZAA), proudly led by Bar Daramola Adesuyi, holds Zonal Conference today, 3rd of March 2025, and they draw out the plan for the 2025 Athletic Year.
The representatives from each local governments under the zone which comprise of Ondo East, Ondo West, Ileoluji/OkeIgbo and Ore Odigbo came together to draw the athletics skeletal framework for the Zone which will be followed religiously.
The Chairman of the Zone, Barrister Daramola Adesuyi, while addressing the coaches and officials of the Zone, appreciated them for their commitments and undiluted efforts over the years.
He referred to how our zone represented Ondo State in the last National Youth Games, and our representative won the fastest runner of the year, bringing glory to Ondo State through us.
The Association also introduced the Association’s website, which was widely accepted by the team.
Sir, Chief Ayo A Akingbule; the patron of the organization, expressed his satisfaction and promised to give the association the maximum support needed to help the young talents within the zone.
Representatives from different local governments were also charged to scout for young brilliant and talented athletes who can be sponsored both locally and internationally.
The conference was well attended as the representatives left with great enthusiasm.
