Ranking House of Reps Member, Hon Abiola Peter Makinde, PhD, representing Ondo East/West Federal Constituency has appreciated Ondo state Governor, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa for swiftly moving to access the damage caused by rainstorm at Akure AirPort.
“We sincerely appreciate Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his prompt response in assessing the damages at Akure Airport following the recent incident. His commitment to ensuring the safety of travelers and the functionality of the airport infrastructure is commendable.
By personally visiting the site and taking necessary steps toward repairs and improvements, Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated strong leadership and dedication to the welfare of Ondo State and its residents.
We are glad to also know that swift action will follow to restore the airport to full operation, ensuring safe and efficient air travel for all. The waiting time is no longer 3 months as initially announced by FAAN, its now matter of days.
