A historic Town Hall meeting was today, held in Ondo West Constituency II, marking a significant milestone in the constituency’s political engagement.
The event, hosted by the lawmaker representing Ondo West Constituency II at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Biola Oladapo, provided a rare and inclusive platform for stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue and chart a course for development.
The meeting which was held at Stella Palace, Oka, Ondo City, the meeting featured the presentation of a detailed stewardship report by Hon. Oladapo, who used the opportunity to highlight his achievements and the challenges faced since assuming office.
According to a statement signed by his Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Okunoye Kabiru Bola and made available to journalists, the report underscored his dedication to transparency and accountability, qualities that stakeholders present commended as commendable and rare.
An interactive session followed the presentation, during which constituents asked questions, gave feedback, and suggested ideas to move the constituency forward.

In his closing remarks, Hon. Oladapo reassured constituents of his unwavering commitment to improving lives across Ondo West II. Market leaders (Iyalojas), traditional heads (Baales), and political leaders in attendance lauded his remarkable achievements within just one year and eight months in office.
His sterling achievements so far, include; Provision of scholarships to indigent bright students in his Constituency, free summer coaching for students, cash empowerment for Constituents, restoration of peace and trust in Ilua community and facilitation of admission for eligible candidates.
Others were; Facilitating prompt processing of pensioners gratuities, covering the health allowance of a constituent, lobbying for temporary staff to attain full staff status, provision of transformer to Bagbe community, and grading of rural roads in various communities.
Also, other laudable achievements of the lawmaker included; facilitating employment at State agencies, provision of transformer to Igbado community, construction of bridge for Odowo community, provision of Solar powered street lights and sponsoring bill to improve the welfare of Ondolites among others.
