…….as Pastor Olumide Obadele emerges group’s Director General
Following the recent endorsement and announcement of President Bola Ahmed TINUBU as the sole candidate of the All Progressives Congress at the 2027 Presidential election by the leadership of the party, the Minister of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo has announced his unflinching support for the President at the launch of independent mobilisation group – Progressives Network for Tinubu in Ondo State.
The Minister charged the group that Ondo State must not only retain the 2023 lead in terms of votes percentage in the South West, but should increase the stake in 2027.
In a release by the spokesperson of the group, Comrade Adesuyi Ajayi described the group as a movement of grassroots politicians who were carefully selected to deliver on the mandate of the group.
He further said that the scope of operation is not limited to Ondo State alone but the entire South West region.
Also, in a press release by the office of the Director General of the group, Pastor Olumide Obadele, assured the new leaders of the group across Ondo State of the unflinching support of the Minister of Interior, Dr. Bunmi Tunji Ojo.
Pastor Olmakb said “I can assure you that we have the full support of our own Interior Minister, Dr. Bunmi Tunji Ojo. I have his instructions to tell you to move into the nooks and crannies of Ondo State to mobilise support for President Tinubu; imbibing party spirit.
“Honourable Bunmi Tunji Ojo is an ardent believer in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola TINUBU and he will stop at nothing to advance the cause”, Pastor Olumide said.
