A former candidate of the Ondo State House of Assembly under the Mega Party of Nigeria, Hon. Philips Ayodele Irhodia, has applauded the appointment of Prince Biyi Poroye as the Executive Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
Hon. Irhodia, a United Kingdom-based development expert, applauded the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for what he described as a strategic and visionary decision.
According to him, the appointment of Prince Poroye is a step in the right direction that will fast-track socio-economic development across the oil-producing communities, particularly in the southern region of the state.
“The choice of Prince Biyi Poroye is commendable. He is a grassroots leader with a clear understanding of the region’s challenges and potential. His leadership will no doubt bring about rapid development across the length and breadth of the oil-producing areas,” Irhodia said.
He further called on the people of the region to give their full support to Prince Poroye and the newly constituted board, emphasizing the need for unity and collective effort to achieve sustainable growth in all sectors of the local economy.
