UI Alumni honour Educationist, Dr. Damilola Oshin for humanitarian services


In recognition of her unprecedented humanitarian services to all facets of the society, Rev. (Dr.) Damilola Oshin—an accomplished, multiple award-winning Educationist and Proprietress of Mummy’s Place Nur & Pry, Akure, has bagged another honour of a Distinguished Alumni Award by the University of Ibadan Alumni Association, Ondo State Branch.

The prestigious award was presented on May 10, 2025 during the annual public service lecture of the Association held at FUTA Auditorium in Akure, by the Branch Chairman, Mr. Yinka Akinola, who described Dr. Oshin as “a beacon of life and light to humanity.”

Akinola said the honour highlights her consistent dedication to humanitarian service, impactful leadership, and her vital contributions to the growth of the Association and national development.

In her remarks, Dr. Oshin expressed deep gratitude to the Chairman, members of the executive, and indeed all members of the Alumni Association from her Alma Mater, University of Ibadan, for the honour.

She assured that the award will continue to spur her to do more for humanity.

A well respected figure in both faith and community service, Dr. Oshin stands out as a shining example of purposeful living and enduring impact and her track record of excellence has earned her numerous accolades over the years including a prestigious award from Ondo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) among others.

This latest recognition adds to her growing legacy as a transformational leader who continues to inspire and empower lives across various platforms.
