OSERB applauds appointment of Engr. Johnson Alabi as Ondo Commissioner

The Ondo State Electricity Regulatory Bureau (OSERB) has congratulated the Special Adviser to the Governor on Energy, Engr. Johnson Alabi, on his recent nomination as a Commissioner-designate by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

In a congratulatory message signed by the State Coordinator of OSERB, Engr. Stephen Bolawole, Engr. Alabi was described as an astute engineer and visionary leader whose contributions have been instrumental in advancing the energy sector under the current administration.

Engr. Bolawole commended the commissioner-nominee for his pivotal role in the Governor Aiyedatiwa-led administration’s commitment to eradicating estimated billing and improving electricity access in Ondo State.

He noted that under Engr. Alabi’s leadership, the innovative O’Datiwa Metering Scheme was successfully launched, providing prepaid meters at pocket-friendly prices to citizens and helping to restore fairness and transparency in electricity billing.

According to the statement:

OSERB reiterated its commitment to supporting the state government’s efforts toward a more accountable and consumer-friendly power sector, in line with the Ondo State Electricity Power Sector Law, 2020.
