Dr. Michael Akintomide Ajilo, MBChCB (MBBS) is a visionary leader, accomplished physician, and community builder whose professional and humanitarian track record positions him as an inspiring figure of excellence and servant leadership. A proud son of Ondo Town in Ondo State, Nigeria, Dr. Ajilo is the founder of the MADE Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to education, healthcare access, and sustainable community development.

Academic Excellence & Early Leadership
Dr. Ajilo’s leadership journey began early in life. A product of St. Raphael Nursery & Primary School and Independence Grammar School (popularly known as Indico), Ondo, he excelled academically and took on leadership roles that set him apart from his peers.
He captained his school’s quiz and debate teams and represented Ondo State in national academic competitions, such as the Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists (JETS) and CowbellPedia Mathematics competition. His sterling performance earned him the honor of serving as Senior Prefect—an early testament to his natural leadership ability.
Medical & Public Health Expertise
Driven by a passion for healing and societal well-being, Dr. Ajilo earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He later advanced his education with a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Delaware, USA—further enriching his capacity to address health issues from both clinical and population-health perspectives.
His professional credentials include internationally recognized certifications such as OPITO, BOSIET with EBS, NEBOSH, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Medical Monitoring, PMEC, Medidata Rave, Veeva Vault CDMS, IQVIA Study Hub, IWRS MedDRA , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Business Analytics, reflecting his commitment to best practices and global healthcare standards.

Dr. Ajilo’s career has spanned high-impact roles across Nigeria and the United States. He has served as a Medical Doctor with Ondo State Specialist Hospital, Truama Center and Mother & Child Hospitals in Ondo town, Medical Doctor with Lifeline Children’s Hospital in Lagos, Medical Lead and Claims Manager at Swift HMO in VI, Lagos, Regional Medical Case Manager at Redcare HMO in Lagos, and Family Physician at Reddington Multi-Specialist Hospital in VI, Lagos. In the U.S., he advanced to Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at Care Access in Boston, where he worked on clinical trials in collaboration with pharmaceutical leaders Pfizer and Eli Lilly.
Currently, he serves as Medical Lead at O2 Consulting Services and Lecturer in the College of Health Professions and Natural Sciences at Wilmington University, Delaware, mentoring the next generation of public health and clinical professionals.

Beyond his clinical and academic pursuits, Dr. Ajilo is a trailblazer in community development.
