Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Pastor (Mrs.) Bukola Omotola Poroye, as she marked her 50th birthday in grand style in Akure.
Bukola Poroye is the wife of the Executive Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (OSOPADEC), Prince Biyi Poroye.
In a message delivered on his behalf by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, at the thanksgiving ceremony, Governor Aiyedatiwa described the celebrant as “a woman of strength, grace, and steadfast virtue whose life has become a source of inspiration to many across our State.”
“Pastor Mrs. Poroye is not only a devoted wife and mother but also a beacon of quiet strength and resilience qualities that have shaped the solid foundation upon which her family and community stand,” the Governor remarked through his representative.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also used the occasion to commend Prince Biyi Poroye, praising his “visionary leadership and firm dedication to the progress and development of oil-producing areas in Ondo State.” He affirmed that the Poroyes, as a family, embody the virtues of service, humility, and faith that align with the values of his administration.
The event, which held in Akure on Wednesday 2nd July, 2025, drew family members, friends, and dignitaries from within and outside the State, including notable figures in politics, faith, and public service.
In his emotional tribute, Prince Biyi Poroye expressed deep appreciation to all attendees and showered praises on his wife, whom he described as “his lifelong pillar and the unseen strength behind every stride he has made in public service and family life.”
The ceremony began with a prayer session led by a senior pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), followed by words of exhortation and special blessings from Pastor Yinka Ogunoye.
Guests took turns to offer glowing tributes to the celebrant, highlighting her devotion to faith, family, and humanitarian causes. Her quiet impact and steadfast values resonated in every speech and prayer offered.
