Uncertainty, Fear as Two Ondo Varsity’s students disappear mysteriously

The Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) community is now in the state of uncertainty and fear as two students reportedly disappeared mysteriously for the past two weeks.

The students are Andrel Eloho Okah and John Friday Abba. Okah, a 200-level student of History and International Studies, and Abba, a 200-level student of Economics, who have been missing for over two weeks.

A school mate, Ajibola said, the students stopped attending classes and academic activities on campus without explanation; despite efforts to reach them through their phone numbers, their whereabouts remain unknown.

“For over two weeks now, the two of them have been missing from school and academic activities in class. We had searched everywhere. We can’t find them, and we’re worried about their whereabouts,” Ajibola said.

The students’ union has reported the matter to the school management and the police.

Some students speculate about possible kidnapping or other unwholesome activities that might be linked to their disappearance.

There is no official comment from the university’s management, but a source confirmed that the school authorities had reported the case to the police and investigations are ongoing.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ondo State, Olayinka Ayanlade, said the case is under investigations.
