Prince Adebayo Mourns the Passing of Former President Muhammadu Buhari

The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 general elections, Prince Adewole Adebayo, has joined other well-meaning Nigerians in mourning the passing of Nigeria’s immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari, who died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 82.

In his heartfelt tribute, Prince Adebayo described Buhari as a selfless patriot who dedicated his entire life to the service of his nation.

“Words are not enough to fully capture the personality of Muhammadu Buhari. He served Nigeria diligently and with unwavering strength,” Adebayo said.

“Nigeria will deeply feel the void left by his departure to eternal rest. He was a man who devoted his life to the service of his fatherland,” he added.

“Rest on, great leader. We will all miss you,” Adebayo concluded.

It will be recalled that the former president had been receiving medical treatment at a hospital in London prior to his death. Prince Adebayo extended his sincere condolences to the Buhari family, praying that God grants them the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
