
Hon. Omowunmi Mourns Former President Muhammadu Buhari, Extends Condolences to Nigerians
Hon. (Princess) Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole, former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Ondo State, has expressed her heartfelt condolences to the family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari and to the entire nation of Nigeria.
In a statement issued to the press, Hon. Omowunmi described the former President as “a disciplined leader, a defender of integrity, and a man who dedicated his life to the service of Nigeria both in uniform and in democratic leadership.”
She noted that the passing of President Buhari is a national loss that leaves behind a deep void, not only in the hearts of his family and close associates, but also among millions of Nigerians who admired his patriotism and unwavering commitment to the country.
“President Buhari’s legacy will remain a cornerstone in Nigeria’s democratic and security history. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family, and I pray that Almighty God grants them the strength to bear this loss. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” she said.
The Akure Princess called on Nigerians to remain united during this solemn period and to honor the memory of the late leader through continued dedication to peace, good governance, and national development.
