.….Gets Royal Blessing from Osemawe.
Renowned infrastructure development strategist, Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye FNSE, FNICE, was officially inaugurated on Monday, July 14, as a Commissioner in Ondo State by the Governor, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The historic swearing-in ceremony, which drew citizens from across the state, was a celebration of leadership and service.
The new Commissioner was also at the palace of the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom to receive Royal Blessing from Oba Victor Kiladejo and his Chiefs.
During the event, Governor Aiyedatiwa charged all 16 newly appointed commissioners to uphold the constitution, remain focused on the administration’s development blueprint, and resist every form of distraction.
In response, Engr. Olawoye reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the growth of Ondo State, pledging to bring his wealth of technical expertise and professionalism to bear in advancing the government’s goals.
Following the inauguration, a grand homecoming reception was held in Ondo City, Ondo West Local Government Area, in honour of the newly inaugurated commissioner.
The event was marked by pomp and pageantry, with a mammoth crowd turning out to celebrate their illustrious son.
Notable attendees included Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji; Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Omowumi Isaac; Member representing Ondo East/West, Hon. Abiola Makinde; Hon. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi; Hon. Morenike Witherspoon; Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye; Hon. Tomide Akinribido; traditional rulers; youth and women groups; and key leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from across the state.
