Dr Thomas Wilson-Ikubese, a former Presidential Aspirant and Chief Medical Director of the Sckye Hospitals Ltd, has been honoured with another award for his philanthropic and humanitarian to the society.
The latest of his series of honours is coming from the Rotary Club Akure Prestige.
Dr Ikubese has therefore dedicated the prestigious award conferred on him by the Rotary Club Akure Prestige to the Paramount Ruler and Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi who celebrated 10th Coronation Anniversary.
The honour was bestowed on the multiple awards winning Senior Medical Doctor at the investiture of Rotarian Ajibade Kolawole as the 4th President of the Rotary Club Akure Prestige held at The DOME on Thursday 17th, July, 2025.
On his social media page, Dr Ikubese thanked the Club for recognizing his modest contributions to the health milieu of the Akure metropolis.
Dr Ikubese stated that, he dedicated the award to the first class monarch and Deji of Akure under whose kingship Akure kingdom has been exceptionally peaceful in the past ten years.
It could be recalled that, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi is celebrating his 10 years on the throne, and one of his major achievements is the relative peace in Akure metropolis.
The statement Reads, “Today, I was presented with an award of honor by the Rotary Club of Akure Prestige, in recognition of my modest contributions to the health milieu of the Akure metropolis”.
