Dear Respected Leaders and Esteemed Members of the YFON Platform.
I write to congratulate each and everyone of us as we are barely 24 hours away from the 3rd edition of the most popular civic-inspired event in Ondo State, the YEMIEFASH ONLINE NEWS 2025 INTERACTIVE SESSION & DINNER.
This annual gathering of eminent personalities from diverse strata of the society has earned nationwide applause and recognition for its attempt at bringing to the fore, cogent issues bedeviling our nation in general, and Ondo state in particular, while also proffering workable solutions.
The theme for this year’s edition has been carefully fixed as; STRENGTHENING INSTITUTIONS; SECURING NATIONS; THE PILLAR OF GOOD GOVERNANCE AND LASTING PEACE IN ONDO STATE.
A reputable academician and renowned professor of counseling psychology; Prof. Adebisi Daramola, who is the Deputy- Vice Chancellor( Administration) of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, will be doing justice to the theme as Keynote Speaker. Other thoroughbred personalities, from a wide range of backgrounds, will sit on the panel session and speak on different sectors touching Security, Law and Justice, Gender, Political reforms, Youth Development, Governance and Role of Traditional Institutions.
Some of the panelists include; Hon Justice Bolatito Ajibade, Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, Ondo State Commissioner of Police Adebowale Lawal, Ondo State NSCDC Commandant Oluyemi Ibiloye, His Imperial Majesty the Olowo of Owo, Dr Seun Bosede Osamaye, Hon Adejoro Adeogun, Engr Ayotunde Bally and Hon Balarabe Akinwumi.
Yesterday, Friday, July 25th 2025, we held the first leg of the event by organising and sponsoring a free medical outreach programme in partnership with the Ondo State Ministry of Women Affairs. The outreach, first of its kind in the history of YFON interactive session and dinner, which recorded about three hundred(300) people in attendance, comprised of a health talk, health insurance registration, random blood sugar test, malaria test and treatment, medical consultation, vital signs check, and distribution of drugs- all completely free as earlier indicated.
As leaders and members of the YFON platform, it is our duty and responsibility to work towards the progress and development of our dear sunshine state. We must set aside our personal differences, political affiliations and focus on the common goal of building a prosperous and thriving Ondo State for all its residents.
It is on this note that i hereby humbly invite all our esteemed leaders, political office holders and members of this noble platform to turn out in their numbers, and attend punctually, this spectacular event of intellectual discourse and social networking that is scheduled to hold tomorrow, Sunday, July 27th.
