Ifayase, an unrepentant progressive, Adetimehin mourns
The Ondo State chairman of All Progressives Congress(APC), Engr. Ade Adetimehin, has lamented the death of a former federal commissioner, Chief (Mrs.) Cecelia Ifayase, saying it is a painful development.
The late politician represented Ondo West Constituent 1, in the State House of Assembly, during the tenure of Chief Adebayo Adefarati, where she made significant impacts.
Adetimehin described Hon. Ifayase as a committed and consistent progressive politician, who exhibited genuine concerns for the welfare and development of her people.
The chairman expressed sympathy and condolences to her immediate family, Ondo Kingdom, and entire chapter of APC. He prayed God to overlook her errors and grant her soul eternal rest.

HON. DR. ABIOLA MAKINDE CONDOLES WITH THE FAYASE FAMILY OVER THE DEATH OF HON. (MRS) CECILIA FAYASE.
The Ranking Member representing Ondo East/West Federal Constituency, Hon. Abiola Makinde, has expressed profound sympathy with the Fayase family over the demise of Hon. Mrs Cecilia Fayase.
The Federal Lawmaker eulogized the former Ondo state legislator and one-time federal commissioner as a woman of immense value who has paid her dues remarkably for Ondo state and Nigeria at large.
“I received with shock the news of the demise of Hon. (Mrs) Cecilia Fayase, a former state legislator and former Federal commissioner of the Public Complaints commission.”
Hon. Mrs. Cecilia Fayase has dedicated her life to serving Ondo State and Nigeria with unwavering commitment, professionalism, and integrity. Her legacy is a testament to her remarkable contributions, and it will undoubtedly endure for generations to come.
As we continue to mourn the demise of the astute politician and community mobilizer, it is my firm believe that her soul is now resting with her creator, having served God and humanity with dedication; may her soul rest in perfect peace.”
