OBAWAINA FREE SUMMER SCHOOL HAPPENING LIVE IN IKARAM AKOKO, ONDO STATE
THE ODOMODE ADEYEMI LACROWN FOUNDATION INC, in partnership with “SAINT JEMUEL ACADEMY U.S.A”, is hosting a Free Summer School Program in Ikaram Akoko, Ondo State.
The life changing initiative is designed to provide academic, social, and personal enrichment opportunities for nursery, primary, and secondary students in the community.
The program is made possible through the support of institutions and individuals who share the vision of empowering young mind through education.
The highlight of the summer school are;
- Daily teaching of Mathematics, English Language, Science, and Technology to reinforce foundational skills and promote academic excellence;
- Training and Workshops
-Interactive sessions designed to develop -critical thinking, -problem-solving, and -leadership skills. - Seminars
-Inspiring talks and discussions on various topics, including career development, -self-awareness, and -social responsibility. - Excursions
-Fun and educational outings to explore new places,
Over four hundred pupils & students in the community are currently attending the Summer School.
In his virtual address at the opening of the Summer School, the Visioner Chief ODOMODE ADEYEMI LACROWN enjoined the participants to take advantage of the educational resource made available to them.
He recalled that he too once toiled the soil of Ikaram and it was only through the grace of God and education that he was able to attain a lofty height in life.
He therefore promised that the program will be an annual event.
The pupils & Students were full of excitement & appreciation. Many of them said that it was a life changing experience for them.
